Burst Pipe Water Cleanup in Las Vegas
Sound familiar?
- A sudden spray or gush under a sink, in a wall or in the garage
- Water pressure dropped and you can hear running water
- Ceiling bulging below a bathroom or laundry
- A hose bib or backflow device split after a cold snap
If any of that is happening right now, call. We'll connect you with an independent local contractor.

Each contractor runs their own process and sets their own prices. A typical visit looks something like this:
- Make sure the water is off and help locate the break (or bring in a plumber)
- Extract standing water
- Measure moisture in walls, floors and cabinets
- Dry and monitor until the readings come back to normal
- Document the work for insurance
Vegas factors
Shut the main first. In many Las Vegas homes the house shutoff is near the front hose bib or in the garage. The meter box at the curb belongs to the water utility, so use your house valve whenever you can.
Mid-century lines. Homes from the 1960s–70s in areas like Winchester, Paradise and parts of east Las Vegas may still have older galvanized or copper supply lines. See older Vegas homes: pipes to watch.
Freezes happen. The Valley gets freezing nights most winters. Exposed backflow preventers and outdoor lines are the most vulnerable, so cover them when a freeze warning is issued.
