Condo & Townhome Leak Damage in Las Vegas
Sound familiar?
- Water dripping through your ceiling light or around the fire sprinkler head
- A wet stain spreading on a wall you share with a neighbor
- Your downstairs neighbor knocking about water in their unit
- A building notice about a riser or common-pipe leak
If any of that is happening right now, call. We'll connect you with an independent local contractor.
Request help onlineWhat a contractor typically does
Each contractor runs their own process and sets their own prices. A typical visit looks something like this:
- Help trace the source: your unit, the unit next door, or a common pipe
- Extract water and set up drying in your unit
- Document moisture readings and photos you can share with the HOA and insurers
- Work within the building's rules for access, elevators and work hours
- Coordinate with the building's or neighbor's contractor when the damage crosses units
Vegas factors
Who owns which pipe? In condos, CC&Rs usually decide whether a pipe inside a wall is the owner's or the association's responsibility. That decides who calls whom and whose policy responds.
High-rise logistics. Towers near the Strip and around Las Vegas often require contractors to register, carry specific insurance certificates, and book freight elevators. Call building management early.
Multiple insurers. One leak can involve the HOA master policy, your HO-6 policy and your neighbor's policy. Keep your own photos and readings.
